Former Blackhawk McCabe throws controversial hit
The Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Tampa Bay Lightning in a battle last night and a few combatants are former Chicago Blackhawks.
One of them is Jake McCabe, a defenseman recently added at the deadline.
Playoff hockey brings out the best in players as we see players battle for every inch and McCabe is no different.
McCabe threw a brutal hit on Eyessimont last night which was controversial in nature.
As he threw the hit, he left the ice and along with leaving the ice, led with his elbow.
There was definite chatter on the net, whether it was clean or dirty but this wasn't as clean as people are thinking and he might have to answer the bell for it later in the series.
