Eddie Olczyk Speaks on His Emotional Return to Chicago & Reveals News About His Health
Eddie Olcyzk was in the Blackhawks' booth next to Pat Foley for quite some time, but this trip to the UC was not in the Blackhawks' booth.
His time in the booth came after a stellar 16-year NHL career, in which 5 of those years were spent in Chicago.
On Sunday afternoon, Olczyk returned to the UC, but this time as a member of the Seattle Kraken broadcasting crew.
Foley and Olczyk were a dynamic duo in the booth together, but that time quickly came to an end following Foley's retirement and Olczyk's departure.
During his return on Sunday afternoon, Olczyk was asked about his return to Chicago. Olczyk mentioned that the return was, "an emotional time," but that he stands with his "business and lifestyle decision."
Eddie Olczyk deserves all the respect in the world, and we wish him well on the rest of his broadcasting career.
