Disturbing scene involving rookie sensation Connor Bedard in today's game
As a result of Mark Giordano's very dangerous and careless play, he should have been penalized.
Toronto appears to be receiving a special kind of favoritism today, allowing them to terrorize rookie Connor Bedard.
In the match against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks made slick passes into the Maple Leafs' defensive zone.
Kurashev and Bedard made a pass which we thought could have been converted into a goal.
Bedard, however, was clipped by veteran defenseman Mark Giordano with a knee-on-knee hit right after he shot on net.
Dangerous play from Mark Giordano. Thankfully Connor Bedard was ok. #Blackhawks #LeafsForever
He's lucky that Bedard wasn't injured, but if I was Nick Foligno, I'd make sure he answered the bell after that.
