There hasn't been much to cheer for this season for Chicago Blackhawks fans, especially with the team rebuilding.
However, one player that's quietly had a good year is defensemen Seth Jones. The 28 year-old has 10 goals, and 21 assists so far this season and is has broken a franchise record.
Jones became the fifth defenceman in the past 30 years to post a three goal game streak with the Blackhawks. Joining Erik Gustafsson, Jaroslav Spacek, Bryan Berard, and Alexander Karpovtsev. Jones began his 8 year contract this season that pays him $9.5 million annually with a full no move clause, so you better be a fan of Jones because he's here as long as he wants to be... or at the very least 7 more seasons.
