Calgary News Anchor Takes a Low Blow Shot at Johnny Gaudreau For Leaving The Flames..
Johnny Gaudreau has been one of the biggest names in free agency over the last 3/4 years and nobody expected his destination to be the Columbus Blue Jackets, not even the manager of Columbus could believe it. Johnny Gaudreau was not leaving Calgary for the money, he stated it was to do with his new family starting with his newborn about to arrive!
Gaudreau is born and raised in a suburb area that was nearly apart of Philadelphia and New Jersey at the same time so all fingers pointed to those two being his top destinations until the Philadelphia Flyers released a statement saying they will not be making any more moves, leaving Gaudreau with Columbus and New Jersey on the table. It's been said that Gaudreau and his wife decided Columbus is more suitable for both to start a new life with there newborn that is shortly arriving!
Well the Calgary Flames fan base were quite furious Gaudreau decided to announce his departure, death threats and more disgusting messages were tweeted towards Gaudreau as well as a professional news anchor taking a low blow, he is from Calgary.
And that's the news for now. I'll be back here at 11, unless a news station in Columbus offers me way less money. Then I'll probably go do that.
Gaudreau has taken $15 million dollars less in his newly announced contract to be in a more suitable place for his family, losing him or not how can you dislike the guy? He's making family moves, which always come first!
