Breaking News: Judge Has Made Decision on Virtanen's Sexual Assault Case

Former NHL player Jake Virtanen's verdict is in and the former Vancouver Canuck is found "not guilty."
Virtanen was charged back in January of sexual assault over a alleged incident in a Vancouver hotel September 2017 from female who's name has been protected by a publication ban.
Virtanen was very emotional after the verdict was announced the 25 year old Virtanen was playing right-wing for the Canucks when the allegations surfaced in May 2021. The team placed him on leave and bought out his contract the following month there's no word yet if Virtanen will return to the NHL.
