Blackhawks' draft luck has struck twice in Nashville.
It's an exciting time for many fans in the NHL as they witnessed their teams draft generational players that will help carve a new path to competing for the Stanley Cup. Some drafts are less than average with players in the 10th position having a flaw in their game that needs to be worked on.
Other drafts are so deep that players in the second round could become pivotal members of their teams' hope.
The Blackhawks have had luck in Nashville at the draft table as in 2003 the Blackhawks drafted two key members of their Stanley Cup team in 2014-15. The Blackhawks drafted defenceman Brent Seabrook and goaltender Corey Crawford.
Both players were instrumental in pivotal for the Blackhawks during that run and several runs afterwards. And now the Blackhawks are poised to draft their next generational talent in Regina Pat's centerman
Connor Bedard.
It remains how general manager Kyle Davidson will handle the rest of his picks as he has seven draft picks in the first three rounds.
It's an exciting time to be a Blackhawks fan, as the NHL and their fan base are watching a new team emerge through the draft and trades.
