You would think last night's Wild/Blues antics couldn't get any betteruntil you find out that they randomly chose that night for Marc-André Fleury to be mic'd up.
Now, knowing Fleury, chances are you're going to get gems no matter what. But to have him live during the almost fight with Binnington? Absolutely priceless.
I think the best part is when he claims to just want to grab his stuff, because he doesn't like the way his hair is looking in the moment.
That and the tone of his voice even when he's calling for the fight - it's so calm and pleasant. He's not screaming. He's not angry. He's just ready to fight this guy. And it was a colossal disappointment for the entire league, no matter who you root for, that it didn't happen.
However, NHL Player Safety justice has been served, as Binnington has been suspended 2 games for roughing/unsportsmanlike conduct on Ryan Hartman.
And since we didn't get to see one, last night, here's Fleury's first fight in Juniors with the Cape Breton Eagles.
