Former NHL goaltender Cam Ward has received the honour to be inducted into the Carolina Hurricanes Hall of Fame. Cam Ward spent over fourteen years throughout the National Hockey League tallying up a whopping 334 wins throughout that time, and finishing his career with the Chicago Blackhawks where he had sixteen wins throughout thirty-six games played.
Ward, who is now 38 years of age, was drafted twenty-fifth overall in 2002 and was a key piece to the Hurricanes' Cup win in 2006.
What a great move by the franchise, Ward is nearly their best goaltender in history for the Hurricanes and it is well deserved.
