BREAKING - Ex-Chicago Blackhawk finally receives a major payday
The 2021-2022 NHL season saw Ryan Hartman score 34 goals and help out with 31 assists, all while playing center alongside Kirill Kaprizov.
Since then, he hasn't been able to replicate the same level of production with the Minnesota Wild. Although the Wild have signed him to an extension.
NHL Insider Elliot Friedman reveals his AAV to be $4 Million. As part of a multiyear deal, Hartman was acquired by the Minnesota Wild for two years at $3.8 Million AAV and then took a discount to play with the club for the remaining two seasons at $1.7 Million AAV.
It will keep Hartman in Minnesota, the hockey state in the US, through 2026-2027. If Hartman wants another raise, he will need to produce close to his level in 2021-2022. Hartman will be 32 when his current deal expires. ***UPDATE, OFFICIAL***
