Edmonton Oilers legend force to sell Stanley Cup Rings due to legal troubles
NHL legend Esa Tikkanen sells his four Stanley Cup rings amidst legal trouble with government
Esa Tikkanen who is known for his time with the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers, is in deep trouble.
During the 80s and 90s, he won a total of five rings, he recently sold four of his rings, keeping only the first one from 1985.
Tikkanen said that selling the rings was a personal choice and not because of his current legal issues with taxes.
