Along with future #1 goalie, Frank Seravalli feels that the Chicago Blackhawks, under the leadership of Kyle Davidson, have one of the best prospect pipelines in the NHL.
The
Chicago Blackhawks finished the 2024-2025 NHL season with a bourgeoning youth movement in the lineup. The play looked exceptionally fast and lethal, with players like
Oliver Moore and
Frank Nazar filling out the ranks.
The prospect pool of the Blackhawks is considered one of the deepest and has been ranked fairly high by
Frank Seravalli.
He complimented the front office's hard work to compile a team of future NHL stars, including
Spencer Knight.
<2>«They've got a legitimate embarrassment of riches on the back end, they've got their future goalie in Spencer Knight, and they have all the bottom-six forwards they need to compete already in their system,» Seravalli writes.
Though the team finished the season with a dismal 25-46-11 record, good enough for 8th in the Central Division.
Oliver Moore proved to be an early contributor to the Blackhawks organization as his first nine games saw him score 4 points (4 assists).
While he played primarily in the bottom-six with another prospect who signed soon after exiting college
Ryan Greene, we could end up seeing Greene make it Rockford in 2025, while Moore being a legitimate bottom-six winger.
Moore would flank Ryan Greene in the last game of the season against the Ottawa Senators on April 15th, 2025.
In 2 games, Greene wouldn't come out with his first NHL point but would attempt to generate offense with 1 shot, 3 blocks, and 2:64 TOI against the Senators.
The former 2022 second-round pick will have to make a case for Kyle Davidson to keep him in Chicago, as spots will be tight in the Windy City while the youth movement is ongoing.
