NHL insider reveals 10 teams who have reached out to former Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews

Longtime Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and his agent Pat Brisson have confirmed his plan to return to the NHL for the 2025/26 season, and Chris Johnston of TSN has just unveiled 10 teams are inquiring about the veterans services.
Toews has spent two years away from the NHL after revealed health concerns kept him off the ice, but didn't rule the three-time Stanley Cup Champion retired for good.
The 37-year old recently opened up about his healing journey in India which lasted five weeks to perform a 'detox', which according to Toews, put him back to his normal self.
«It's too long of a story to share all the details here, but it's been almost (five) years of searching for a way to heal the inflammatory and immune system issues that took me out of hockey,» Toews wrote. «The wisdom of Ayurveda has taught me that everything I experience, I am responsible for. Not only did it teach me better diet choices specific to my body type, it has deepened my intuitive relationship with myself and the world around me.»
10 teams have reached out to Jonathan Toews' agent
TSN's Chris Johnson recently revealed that roughly 10 teams have reached out to the former Blackhawks captain, which is without a doubt no surprise.
Toews himself ruled out a return to the Blackhawks organization, stating that chapter has been closed for quite some time now. With a clean slated return to the NHL, the longtime veteran could find himself on a contending team's third or fourth line to get his legs back.

According to NHLFantasy host Nick Alberga, a former Sportsnet and NHL radio analyst, the Toronto Maple Leafs are reported to be one of those 10 teams who are in contact with Toews and his agent.
It's a surprising turn of events for the 37-year-old to return to the game he loves after many battles and years away, but for Blackhawks fans, it will truly be a treat to watch.
