Kyle Davidson pulls off a secret-close to home signing for the Blackhawks

Kyle, recounted the first time he met the Finnish player, fresh off the plane from his frozen and cold home country. Only to arrive in one of the coldest climates in America in Winter, in Chicago.

This was a time when Davidson was just starting out in Chicago he quipped he wasn't sure if Teraveinen remembered him from that day, when he picked him up from the airport.

As of now, Davidson no longer an intern, but the GM of the entire franchise signed Teraveinen in an effort to improve the team.

The relationship has come full circle, considering Teraveinen and Davidson were fast friends until Turbo found his own set of friends in the Blackhawks locker room.

Perhaps there's some friendship left to tap into, as Davidson remembers vividly welcoming the rookie to the team and city.

Really just an amazing story, as Teuvo Teraveinen would win one Stanley Cup with the team, before being sent down to play with the Carolina Hurricanes with Bryan Bickell.
