Justin Bieber finds new NHL team to cheer for after Maple Leafs get eliminated

Justin Bieber found a new NHL team to cheer for after the Toronto Maple Leafs' disappointing elimination from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Florida Panthers.
The renowned Maple Leafs fan Justin Bieber had great tickets to watch his favorite team get eliminated in Game 7 against the Panthers, as he sat straight behind the bench.
After yet another tough year for Leafs fans, Bieber seems to be among those looking for a new favorite team, and he recently posted an Instagram story that suggests he will root for the Chicago Blackhawks.
He recently posted a video of the hilarious exchange between Connor Bedard and former Hawks goalie Darren Pang that occurred a few months ago.

During an interview, Bedard jokingly took a shot at Pang. Here's how it went down:
Pang: "That was a good shot, would've beat me on the glove side even."
Bedard: "I think anything would've beat you on the glove side."
Bedard: "I think anything would've beat you on the glove side."
The Blackhawks will return to their former glory in the next few years. They have many talented young players who'll soon be ready to have a major impact in the NHL.
Bedard, Nazar, and the others could gain a notorious fan, to say the least.
However, nothing indicates that Bieber will stop cheering for the Leafs. There's a possibility that Bieber simply thought Bedard's reply was funny and wanted to share it on Instagram.
Bieber also has relationships with some players in the locker room, such as Auston Matthews.
Let's not forget what he posted after the elimination:
"I don't remember a time in my life when I haven't been obsessed with the Leafsssss.
This year we made it farther than we have in so long and I'm happy about that.
I can be patient cuz I know this is the team to do it."

Of course, this won't affect the Blackhawks players whatsoever as they enter their offseason training programs.
