The home of the Chicago Blackhawks is set to undergo a significant revamp over the offseason, according to a new development.

The Chicago Blackhawks moved into the United Center during the 1994-95 season after 65 years of playing at the Chicago Stadium.
NHL teams are a business, and the main goal, for some owners, is making money. In recent years, we have seen many organizations make massive changes to their arena to maximize the potential revenues and upgrade the client experience.
In what looks like a trend in the NHL, the Blackhawks announced that they will renovate their arena, precisely rebranding the Penthouse Suites as the "Banner Level."
The 74 suites will be replaced by various options, such as lounges, individual seats, and suites of different sizes.
Reporter Ben Pope shared pictures of the projected results in a post on X:

The United Center Chief Operating Officer Joe Myhra released a statement about the massive project, in which he stated that the organization wants to offer a unique experience to the fans that go to the arena all year long for various events:
"The renovation represents the next chapter in our commitment to prioritize and enhance the fan experience in the arena. By blending modern design with flexible, social spaces and views unlike anywhere else in the arena, we're creating a premium environment that's as dynamic and diverse as the fans and events that fill the United Center year-round."

Many more big changes are expected in Chicago. Notably, the Bulls' and Blackhawks' owners will launch the 1901 Project, a $7 billion investment to redevelop the arena's surroundings.
The Blackhawks have been at the bottom of the NHL for a few years now, despite drafting several talented players over the past seasons. If owners want to see fans keep coming to games despite the team's performances, upgrading the venue and the clients' experience is crucial.
