The Chicago Blackhawks have announced a 5-man professional tryout roster ahead of
training camp.
While the roster isn't exactly star-studded, there's one standout who is of note, defenseman
Matt Grzelcyk, who was a 40-point defenseman last season (1 goal, 39 assists, 40 points) in 82 games.
General manager Kyle Davidson certainly caught the Maple Leafs sleeping, as Grzelcyk would've been an ideal candidate for Toronto's lacking blue line.
