The Blackhawks will play the Detroit Red Wings in the United Center on September 25th in the preseason opener, and then will fly to Utah on October 8th to play a late night game in Utah.
The game against the Red Wings will be at 8 PM EST, and the game against Utah will be at 10 PM EST. The Blackhawks and Utah will be aired on ESPN.
This season also kicks off the first season for the new Chicago Sports Network, a new way to stream Blackhawks games.
Connor Bedard will be a huge focal point this season, but new additions such as Tyler Bertuzzi and Teuvo Teravainen can dazzle as well. Plus, fans should be excited to see the continued development of defenseman Alex Vlasic, who just recently signed a six-year deal to stay in Chicago.
