GM Kyle Davidson and the Chicago Blackhawks have a shot to draft Michael Misa at the 2025 NHL Draft in Los Angeles, and here's a profile of the future superstar.

The Chicago Blackhawks have a great selection of talent, as they're picking 3rd OA in the 2025 NHL Draft. The draft will be hosted by the Los Angeles Kings at Peacock Theater.
Matthew Schaefer remains the consensus 1st OA pick, so it may be between Misa, Porter Martone and Anton Frondell if we're going by our opinion.
While Kyle Davidson already has a details scouting report and the analytics to back up his player profile, we don't get that kind of fancy stuff to get an idea of prospects.

Michael Misa

While Michael Misa is currently projected to be drafted at #2 by Mike Grier and the San Jose Sharks, the Islanders would have to pass on him first. While they do need more blue liners, sometimes taking the best player available is the only option.
In regards to Misa, the website Elite Prospects has a varied opinion of where he'll be taken in the draft. There isn't actually a sound consensus around him at all.
10 list him getting picked at number two, three project Misa at three, two at one, one at four, and one at five.

Misa's achieved quite a bit in his short OHL career, with a Memorial Cup (2024), OHL Rookie of the Year (2023), and now Most Points in the OHL (2025). Misa, like Connor Bedard, scored a copious amount of points in his final year, with 134 points in 65 games.

Needless to say, the comparisons to Jonathan Toews are beginning already.

At 6'1", 185 pounds, he has the size he can utilize to create space, and has the skating ability to drive offense to the net. Given his rave reviews, it'll be surprising if he slides to #3.

Stranger things have happened, remember Matvei Michkov?

Misa's known as a stellar two-way performer who doesn't miss his coverage, and can back up his blue liners when needed.

The Blackhawks would do well to consider drafting Misa if he's available.
