Nor did anyone know that a close friendship would form between Reichel and Maroon. With the Holidays, Reichel is from Germany, and his family is there. So, Maroon invited Reichel over to his house to celebrate with him and his family, as he posted a picture on his Instagram story.

That's a nice gesture by the Maroon's and just shows why they click on the ice.
Reichel is 22 years old and was a first-round pick in 2020 and patience was running low because he wasn't producing. Lukas has three goals and seven assists for ten points in 31 games this year, although he has looked more lively and has had a lot of good chances he's been robbed on.
It's way better than last year, as he got sent down to the Rockford Icehogs at the end of last season, where he put up eight points in ten games with a +6, and in the AHL playoffs, he had four points in four games. Then, he came off hot and found something with Maroon and Smith.
Maroon has been rejuvenated, too. Maroon, at 36, is on pace to have one of the best seasons he's had in the last few years. Currently, Maroon sits at eight points in 32 games, but he's projected for 19.
The move from Maroon just shows the brotherhood that is on the team. When you're last in the league, you have to band together, and that's what they're doing.
