Weeks played one preseason game with the Blackhawks against the Detroit Red Wings, where he'd give up two goals, and earn a .667 save percentage for the night.
Before the preseason, the Chicago Blackhawks gave Weeks a two-year deal, after splitting time between the ECHL's Indy Fuel, and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
The last two preseason games, saw Arvid Soderblom and Petr Mrazek get starts over Weeks.
It seems he will continue to develop his skills in the AHL, as he joins Drew Commesso and Arvid Soderblom in Rockford's net.
Weeks posted his first AHL shutout on January 12th and won three starts in December after his call-up.
Weeks has had a strong showing during his 2nd year with the Rockford IceHogs as he continues to be a prospect the Blackhawks could depend upon in the future, as a call-up or potential third.
