Worrisome News About Jonathan Toews Surfaces After 4th Straight Missed Practice

When the Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews finally decides to hang up his skates, he's going to be known as one of the greatest players in Blackhawks franchise history.

Well so first ballot Hall of famer "Captain Serious" has done it all during his career in the NHL as well in International play for Team Canada, winning numerous gold medals and 3 Stanley Cups.


Unfortunately for Toews he had some serious health issues pop up during the 2020-21 season, causing Toews to miss the entire season and having some wonder if his playing career was in jeopardy of ending.

It was later shared that:

he was suffering from what they call "immune response syndrome or also called CIRS."

However, Toews, like he's done his whole career, never gave up and battled back to finish his career off on his own terms.

Unfortunately though fans have started to show their concerns for their captain after the Blackhawks announcement that Toews missed practice due to illness. The fourth straight day...

Then Blackhawks Insider Charlie Roumeliotis would tweet:

", Jonathan Toews (illness) is not practicing for the fourth straight day. Starting to feel a little unusual. #Blackhawks

Fans then started sharing concerning comments on social media for their Captain.


Unfortunately for Toews his battle with CIRS doesn't have a cure, meaning Toews only course of action is medical treatment, medicine, and rest.
