As the weather continues to get colder and colder as winter approaches it appears many ''hot heads'' are on the loose in various leagues, from a player kicking a referee with his skate, another players swinging his stick violently towards the referee and now yet another ''sticky'' situation where a player is likely to endure a suspension AT LEAST.
Another dangerous stick infraction took place on Tuesday, where a Russian player by the name of Alexander Kosterev laid a lumberjack swing attempt on a opposing players throat after he was hauled down to the ice.
When the player got up from getting taken down by a trip, he purely reacted out of anger, but in quite the wrong way.
Alexander Kosterev was kicked out of the game alongside a five-minute major penalty.
