The Philadelphia Flyers are much like the Blackhawks, but somehow the Flyers are nearly worse this season.

The Philadelphia Flyers lost ten games in a row and have just earned their first win in nearly one month on Tuesday night against the New York Islanders in a heated matchup.

The Flyers and Blackhawks are just six spots away from each other on the NHL's leaderboard standings with the Blackhawks at 31st and the Flyers at 26th, but both teams are hoping to go into different directions. The Chicago Blackhawks and their general manager Kyle Davidson has stated multiple times that they are entering a multi-year rebuild and will be sellers.

The Philadelphia Flyers are heading into a complete different direction, they have several players who are in hopes to go deep into the playoffs this season, although it doesn't seem very realistic, they may just be a few trades away from getting back on track.

The Blackhawks signed Max Domi and Andreas Anthanasiou at the trade deadline for one year three million dollar friendly contracts for a purpose to flip them at the NHL trade deadline OR beforehand.

The Philadelphia Flyers have an issue for developing players, one player suffering with the organizations developmental process is 23 year old forward Morgan Frost, who was drafted twenty-seventh overall a few years back, but has yet to get a full time roster position due to the Flyers full lineup.

He has impressive stats in the faceoff dot, a category the Blackhawks will hurt in when Jonathan Toews decides to leave or retire.

The Blackhawks may want to inquire about a young Morgan Frost, he has dominated in the American League for many years as well as lead team Canada to a gold medal just a few years back, he has skill, and the Blackhawks have multiple vacant roster spots as well are in need of youth to start their rebuild.

Both teams could very well benefit from a swap, if the blackhawks are going to lose Anthanasiou to free agency after this season, why not get value? Andreas Anthanasiou would compliment the Flyers ‘'big sized'' offense with his amazing speed, Morgan Frost would help jumpstart the Blackhawks rebuild.

Yay or nay, who says no?
