TSN Reports That a Fan Favourite Wants to Re-Sign, But The Blackhawks Don't Want Him
BY S. HARPER
Right now there really isn't too many players that would be untouchable when it comes to trades, however, one of the Blackhawks forwards is hoping to stay in the windy city.
Max Domi signed a one year $3,000,000 dollar deal this off-season and with many believing Domi would get moved at the trade deadline for some assets, it appears as if Domi wants to stay a Blackhawk and sign an extension. However, TSN analyst Chris Johnson would share the latest on Domi and the Blackhawks saying:
"Domi would like to sign an Extension in Chicago but given where Chicago is right now they will most likely move on from him and test the market for him"
Domi has a had a great season despite the Blackhawks issues, scoring 14 goals, and 18 assists in 45 games, if the Blackhawks do indeed look to move Domi there will be plenty of team's interested for sure, but it'll be another tough hit for Patrick Kane in losing a good friend, as he's built an off-ice relationship with Domi. It seems as if everyone Kane has built a good relationship with (Panarin, DeBrincat and now Domi) gets shipped away after a few good seasons.
