With Bo Horvat officially off of the market, the spotlight is currently beaming down on Patrick Kane, who has a very difficult decision looming. Kane has spent his entire career in Chicago and has a chance to break all of the Blackhawks franchise records, but also knows that the team is not close to competing again in the near future.

After Monday's practice, Kane was asked about his future and had some interesting comments. Kane said that he and his agent have been discussing "intriguing" trade options and trying to figure out what team could really be the best fit. Kane also reiterated that they're not at that point yet in the process. As of right now, Kane is still undecided on his future.
While Kane may not be willing to say the team's he's interested in, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed some information. Pagnotta revealed that the New York Rangers and Dallas Stars are notably among the teams who have shown interest in trading for Patrick Kane.
While many teams certainly would love to acquire Patrick Kane for a playoff push, it seems like neither Kane or Toews is in any hurry to get out of Chicago. Kane's production offensively has been down this season and even with the tall task of suffering through a rebuild hovering over his head, he still hasn't made a decision. Everyday a decision is not made, the chances of Kane staying in Chicago seem to grow. We'll see how this last month before the deadline plays out and if Kane ultimately decides to stay home.
