NHLer's Mom Celebrates Son's 100th NHL Game For The Blackhawks!

You know you have a supportive family when your Mom announces your 100th game before your own team does.

Just under 5 years ago, MacKenzie Entwistle was picked by the Arizona Coyotes in the 3rd Round of the 2017 Draft. He spent the next few years mostly in the OHL, reaching the 2018 and '19 playoffs with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Guelph Storm, respectively. In 2019, he joined the Blackhawks and their AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, and has been making a name for himself, ever since.

He scored his first NHL goal on May 9, 2021, has been described as a «power-forward», and is not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Both Entwistle's parents, Margaret and Dave, were athletes as well, so the Ontario native grew up around volleyball soccer, lacrosse and rugby, as well as hockey. Another great thing about having supportive parents with social media, if you miss an update from the Blackhawks, you can always count on Momma Entwistle to keep you posted.

Congratulations, MacKenzie!!
