Max Domi quickly turned into a fan favorite in his short stay in Chicago after signing a one-year deal in free agency last summer. Domi adapted quite quickly to Luke Richardson's system and was the best player on the ice most nights for the Blackhawks.

In Chicago, Domi had 18 goals and 31 assists in 60 games. Domi did log a +/- -9 during those contests, but that is actually low compared to the rest of the Blackhawks forwards. Domi also ranked second among forwards in ice time during his time with the Blackhawks with 18:18 per game.

Since joining Dallas, Domi's offensive production has dipped tremendously. In 10 games since the trade, Domi has 1 goal and 3 assists and has logged a +/- -5. Domi scored his first goal March 6th against the Calgary Flames and hasn't put a puck in the back of the net since then.

While the decision to move Domi was for the best due to the Blackhawks obvious tank mindset with Connor Bedard hanging over everyone's heads. I wouldn't rule out the idea of Domi returning to Chicago in free agency. Domi chose Chicago originally because of the hire of Luke Richardson and spoke highly of the city and organization as a whole. Would you like to see Max Domi back in Chicago?
