Jujhar Khaira's career has been modest, to say the least, as he continues to refine his game. He was drafted in the 2012 Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round, as the 63rd overall choice.

He spent six years in their organization, where his best performance came in the 2017-2018 season when he played 69 games, scoring 11 goals with 10 assists for a total of 21 points, and accrued 47 penalty minutes.

In his last two seasons, he played for the Chicago Blackhawks, and his highest point total was 14 points in the previous season, playing 51 games, with six goals and eight assists. It now appears that he has found a new home with the Minnesota Wild.

He has signed a new one-year deal, a two-way contract that will pay him $775,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 at the AHL level. He's a player who can provide depth in your bottom six, and with over eight years of NHL experience, he will be a valuable asset to the Wild in the future, especially in the event of injuries.

NHL training camp will commence later this week, with most camps opening by Friday, September 22nd.
WILL THE BLACKHAWKS MAKE ANY FURTHER MOVES BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS ON THE TRADE FRONT ?
