The Chicago Blackhawks are currently more open then your local Seven Eleven when it comes to making any trades heading into the NHL Trade Deadline.

Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has been getting plenty of calls especially about Patrick Kane, and Jonathan Toews, but also defenceman Jake McCabe.

In fact, according to David Pagnotta of SIRIUSXM NHL Radio and The Fourth Period, the Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas has been interested in possibly working on acquiring the services of McCabe in Toronto, and has shown interest to Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson about acquiring the defensemen.

The 29 year-old has 2 years remaining on his current contract that pays him $4 million next season and $5 million the following year. The Blackhawks would have of have to retain 50% of McCabe's salary.
