Over the years, some NHL entry drafts are looked at with great excitement more than others. Generational talent comes along so often with beleaguered fan bases hoping their teams would align themselves to get in the best position to land them.
With the table set, the NHL announced on May 8th that Bedard was coming to the Blackhawks, which the entire fan base erupted with joy and jubilation. Within hours after the announcement, the Blackhawks sold over $2.5 million of season tickets which is a new record.
Having the draft pick for Bedard ready to go, it's going to be very interesting to see how Davidson will fill out the roster and who he will choose with 9 draft picks in the draft which happened to be in the first three rounds themselves. The needs of the Blackhawks are everywhere on the lineup.
