Blackhawks to Acquire a Former First Overall Draft Pick?

BY S. HARPER
As we know as hockey fans trades are part of the business. We might not always like the deals, but they're part of the game. Chicago Blackhawks fans know the feeling with General Manager Kyle Davidson has been trying to trade away all he can for picks and prospects.

However, despite Davidson and the Blackhawks in for tank mode for Connor Bedard, the Blackhawks could be acquiring another 1st overall pick. That play was 2020 first overall pick Alexis Lafreniere, which would excel the Blackhawks rebuild.

The 21 year-old has been in the dog house with the Rangers, and hasn't developed as quick as Rangers Management hoped. However, with Lafreniere being so young he's gained a lot of interest from team's around the League such as, Montreal, San Jose!, Chicago, and the Vancouver Canucks, according to an inside source from the Hockey Writers.
