Blackhawks fans deemed 'most stressed' in the NHL.

It's certainly been a rollercoaster year for the Chicago Blackhawks fan base. Ever since they won the Stanley Cup the team has been on a slow progressive decline as the salary cap has hit them hard.

Previous general managers had given the team's best players very expensive contracts which hamstrung the team from building from within.

After a couple of years, they tried to bring back the band to see if they can make another run for the cup and it failed. Fast forward to last year in 2022 new general manager Kyle Davidson decided to put an end to this core and gut the team from top to bottom.

To lose all these players and personnel within one year including Alex Debrincat, Blackhawks fans certainly can take change even if it's difficult.

Blackhawks fans have something to look forward to now that the season is over, with May 8th as a date to be circled on a calendar. That is when the NHL draft lottery will happen and the team and organization will find out if they have a shot at Connor Bedard the upcoming superstar of the next era of the NHL.
