Every hockey fan has been dreaming of adding Connor Bedard to their roster ever since his debut for the Regina Pats in 2021. Bedard debuted for Regina with 100 points in 62 games in the 2021-2022 season. His list of accomplishments speaks for itself, but Bedard has somehow managed to take his game to a whole new level this season.

For Regina this season, Bedard assumed the captain role and has been putting up points at a truly historic pace. Bedard has 70 goals and 72 assists through only 55 games. His +/- 62 crushes his previous career high of +/- 42 he set last season.

Bedard put on a show at the World Juniors tournament for team Canada this year where he tallied 23 points in only 7 games. Bedard's shot and skill with the puck on his stick sets him a part from the competition.

Bedard has stepped up in so many big moments in his young career. Whether it has been in a game for Regina or in the World Juniors, there hasn't been a single moment too big for Bedard. Ever since he was granted "Exceptional Status" at the young age of 15, Bedard has been impressing fans and making scouts drool over the idea of playing for their NHL team.

If the Blackhawks can win the draft lottery and are lucky enough to draft Connor Bedard, the entire time table for the rebuild may change. With Davidson's impressive draft last year, along with all of the draft capital Davidson has secured for the future mixed with Bedard's skillset can speed up the rebuild and bring playoff hockey back to Chicago much quicker than anyone expected.
