The Minnesota Wild have started off their week quite ''Bold'', handing out a MASSIVE $49,000,000 deal to one of their rookies that some are questioning..

The organization is quite tight for cap space and with this signing you can almost expect defensemen Matt Dumba will be shipped out at the NHL's trade deadline, as expected.

Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed forward Matt Boldy to a seven-year, $49 million contract ($7 million average annual value) that goes through the 2029-30 season.




Boldy currently has 29 points in 42 games this season, as he's only 21-years of age many are contradiciting the organizations decision to make this big commitment so soon into his career, fans are not too happy, take a look below at some comments:
