An Entire ACHA Team Gets Suspended for The Season

Due to an investigation into the team itself, the University of Northern Colorado will be forced to sit out the entire season.
"Our team was investigated and faced allegations from the university regarding underage drinking and hazing. We are currently working to appeal those allegations as we feel the punishment does not correspond to our actions. We appreciate any support."
However, there were allegations involving drinking and hazing on the team, which the team intends to appeal.
There is a lingering stigma of hazing and excessive partying that is left over from the hockey culture of the past.
The ACHA is committed to making the environment welcoming for everyone, so it looks like it'll be a while before it goes away, but for now, the Colorado Bears won't play next season.
